The SHACOG Purchasing Alliance is administered by the South Hills Area Council of Governments (SHACOG) for the following participating Councils of Governments: Allegheny Valley North COG, Butler County COG, Char-West COG, North Hills COG, Quaker Valley COG, SHACOG, Steel Rivers COG, and Turtle Creek Valley COG. SHACOG is responsible for surveying the participating municipalities for estimated requirements, developing and/or updating all product specifications, placing the advertisements for bid, updating the bid program used by the vendors, opening the bids, tabulating the bids, and disseminating the bid results.
PARTICIPATING MUNICIPALITIES
The SHACOG Purchasing Alliance web site allows the member municipalities of the participating COG's to record and view their estimated commodity requirements via the Internet. By using this site, the municipalities have instant access to previous years' survey estimates and the ability to enter data for the new year as well as view all posted bid tabulations.

VENDORS
Prospective vendors must be registered with the SHACOG Purchasing Alliance and have a Username and Password. If the vendor is not registered or does not have a Username and Password, the vendor should contact Sue Dawson (412-429-1130) in the SHACOG office.
